Why “What’s Hot”?
Yes, most people would be breaking out in cooties by now when they see that my domain is “whats-hot.org”. Such bravado, such brass, such chutzpah, most may say.
However, the reason why I chose this as I was thinking about where best to put my $10 on, was basically that I wanted a versatile name. Something you can append a dozen other words to. Something I could use to display my blabber about anything and everything, including very profound discussions on Spongebob’s underpants. And since I was reading an SEO book at that time, for work training, it hit me that I have to use a keyword that quite a lot of people would normally append to their searches.
Yes oh yes. “What’s hot music 2010.” Or “What’s hot fashion 2010.” Or “What’s hot Lady Gaga 2010.” Or whatever cheesy keyword fanboys and fangirls of whatever object they can “fan on”. Yeap. It’s gotta be what’s hot.
What’s a blog for but a place to keep your wonderfully profound philosophical insights on the best things about fries with your burger while earning from AdSense? (For high rollers, big major *whoa* advertisers, of course.) And what use is your AdSense code if you’re not getting traffic.
So yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. What’s hot was born. And then almost left to languish until I just had to braindump about how NOBODY ON A MAC ON TIGER OR WINDOZE 7 SHOULD EVER BUY A GLOBE TATTOO BROADBAND YET. Well at least not as of this moment, July 3, 2010 at 6:59 AM. I spent a good part of 5 hours searching for the software to use with a Mac for Globe Tattoo Prepaid’s USELESS WITH A MAC Huawei E1552. TO NO AVAIL. So I thought about writing a post on how people, I for example, should really think twice, thrice and RESEARCH before burning oneself on USELESS PIECES OF CRAP (For now!!! I still have hope that it MAY improve!!!) like this Globe Tattoo Broadband 3G USB Dongle. RAWR.
So back to where I was. Yes, because I badly needed to braindump, I thought it was high time to actually make use of my $10. Lol.
So no, it’s not because I’m feelingera that I can actually set the trend for whatever or anything. It was really all about SEO, baby.
Funny how it’s taken me 367 words and counting, just to get that point ^ out. :p
